06.24.2010 - Twice the wins at NeoCon 2010...
This year’s NeoCon saw Milliken and Constantine together as one company in the 11th floor Merchandise Mart showroom and at 444 N. Wells Street. With a theme of ‘Combined to Create’, the company presented its largest ever introduction of new products. The results were phenomenal and the show ended with two “Best Of” awards as well as many interested visitors entering the showroom.

The Gold was awarded to the Palisades™ Collection in the broadloom category. This collection embodies luxury with its plush weight and subtlety, created by the use of high-luster fiber that is super sheared to expose organically placed loops.

The Innovation award was given to the Nōtan™ Collection; the first product collection to combine Milliken and Constantine’s unique technologies. A finely textured, piece-dyed base from Constantine was patterned using Milliken’s latest print technology to create a design that showcases changes in opacity in a manner that is not possible through any other techniques.

06.15.2009 - Innovative John Doe™ Channeled Tile™ Wins at NeoCon...
Constantine Commercial won the silver Best of NeoCon award for John Doe™ channeled tile™ at the 2009 NeoCon trade show in Chicago. John Doe™ has sophisticated color and texture, but its true distinctiveness comes from the proprietary technology of channeling™. It is the first product from Constantine that showcases this new process for modular tiles, which enhances the overall visual by carving sheared bands into the interior of the tile. The bands give a very different visual with each installation type, whether in monolithic, quarter-turned, ashlar or combinations of various installations. The channeling™ process can be added to most modular products from Constantine.

05.01.2008 - Sustillian Struts
A true showcase of creativity, indulgence and fashion, Product Runway drew 20 teams consisting of students and Seattle-area architecture and interior design firms to compete in a unique event with a cause. Seattle’s 7’2” Glamazonia emceed this year’s Product Runway competition with flare. Manufacturers of interior materials and finishes were partnered with professionals and students to create unique garments using each particular manufacturer’s products. Funds raised by the event benefited the Interior Design Coalition of Washington, promoting professionalism in the Interior Design industry.

Constantine was a sponsor of the event and was paired with the SkB Architects firm from Seattle for the competition. The team played on Constantine’s name and settled on a “Warrior/Warrioress” theme. An elaborate outfit constructed of Constantine’s resilient vinyl flooring, Sustillian, unbacked carpet and primary backing was readied to face the slings and arrows of the runaway.

Although the Constantine/SkB Architects team did not finish first, praise came abundantly from colleagues for the edgy and creative use of products and talent.
