SPF (Stain Protection Formula)40™ is a proprietary finish developed by Constantine that is applied to carpet to enhance the carpet's performance characteristics. Once applied, it enhances bleach resistance, stain resistance, soil release, oil and water repellency, ozone protection, lightfastness, and colorfastness. SPF 40™ is designed to protect the carpet's appearance under the most demanding conditions and extend the life of the carpet.

It was created to offer more color options when solution dyed performance is required. Our SPF 40™ warranty matches solution dyed warranties.

SPF 40™ is manufactured primarily from recycled plastic drink bottles (PET). In its finished form, SPF 40™ contains 75% post-consumer recycled content.

Carpets finished with SPF 40™ stay attractive longer, ultimately resulting in less necessary new carpet.
