Nylon Carpet
CON-serve™ Recycled Fiber Program allows for recycled nylon to be utilized in Constantine standard running line carpet patterns. This will enable percentages as high as 25%-50% post-industrial recycled content depending on the nylon face construction and backing selection.

This program is really about giving the designer the ability to choose… it offers the same amount of carpet pattern options, beauty, performance, and cost range without being limited to a only a handful of recycled content carpet options.

CON-serve™ Recycled Fiber
Constantine has been built on a concept of flexibility which allows you to take our standard running line products and make them meet your specific project needs. Constantine has given designers the ability to dial up or down product ounce weights for more executive aesthetics, tighter project budgets, or appropriateness for application. Our CON-X Recycled Fiber Program also allows for non-branded Type 6,6 fibers to be utilized in our standard running line products decreasing the cost, but not the aesthetic or performance. And through the use of our extensive Color Reference system, it is possible to have more color options and coordinate companion carpets within a space while not affecting lead times.

With all of this said, it is important, to us, to approach your ability to get exactly what you want in a carpet with recycled nylon as well. In this spirit, we have developed our CON-serve™ Recycled Fiber Program which allows for recycled nylon to be substituted for virgin nylon in Constantine standard running line carpet patterns. This will enable percentages as high as 25%-50% post-industrial recycled content depending on the nylon face construction and backing selection.

CON-tinuum™ Reclamation
We believe that environmental stewardship, in any capacity, is a positive initiative. However, we also believe that sponsorships and contributing to environmental programs is not a priority over being responsible for what we create. As a manufacturer we believe our obligation is simply to take full responsibiIity for the products that we manufacture. We work hard to assure that in the manufacture of all of our flooring products no waste is going to landfills and all cuttings, overage, shear lint, cones, etc. are all recycled. It only makes sense that we would then take as much care with what happens to our carpets after they have been used. Constantine's CON-tinuum™ Reclamation Program guarantees that no Constantine carpet will go to a landfill at the end of its useful life. And you know what the best part is? There aren't loop holes that we have built into the program to make it hard to qualify.

Recycling
Constantine recycles everything generated in our manufacturing process - no waste goes to landfills. As a manufacturer we believe our obligation is simple - take full responsibiIity for the products that we manufacture. We work hard to assure that in the manufacture of all of our flooring products no waste is going to landfills and all cuttings, overage, shear lint, cones, etc. are recycled. In addition to using the most advanced technology to conserve water, electricity, and steam in our dyeing process, we have modified our equipment to reuse and recycle water, which has cut our water consumption by 50%. All fiber that comes into the mill gets tufted and goes out carpet due to our patented M.Y.I .(multiple yarn infusion) process. All of our products are 100% recyclable. We have developed the CON-tinuum™ Reclamation program offering an easy to use program guaranteeing that Constantine product will not go into landfills.
SPF 40™
SPF (Stain Protection Formula)40™ is a proprietary finish developed by Constantine that is applied to carpet to enhance the carpet's performance characteristics. Once applied, it enhances bleach resistance, stain resistance, soil release, oil and water repellency, ozone protection, lightfastness, and colorfastness. SPF 40™ is designed to protect the carpet's appearance under the most demanding conditions and extend the life of the carpet.

It was created to offer more color options when solution dyed performance is required. Our SPF 40™ warranty matches solution dyed warranties.

SPF 40™ is manufactured primarily from recycled plastic drink bottles (PET). In its finished form, SPF 40™ contains 75% post-consumer recycled content.

Carpets finished with SPF 40™ stay attractive longer, ultimately resulting in less necessary new carpet.

CRI Green Label Plus
The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) launched the Green Label Plus, an independent testing program for carpet emissions that establishes the highest standard for indoor air quality ever set by the carpet industry.

All of Constantine carpets are CRI Green Label Plus approved.

CARE
Constantine proudly sponsors and strives to maintain those goals set forth by the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE). Through our innovative manufacturing processes and CON-tinuum™ Reclamation program, by which Constantine guarantees to pick up any Constantine carpet at the end of its useful life or as construction waste management scraps at the time of installation, Constantine assumes full responsibility for the environmental impact of the design, manufacture, recycling and reuse of our carpet throughout its useful life. Our stewardship is aligned with "the development of a flexible and sustainable, voluntary, industry-led initiative by which manufacturers and government will develop a negotiated schedule for the eventual elimination of land disposal, incineration, and incineration with energy recovery of post-consumer carpet and establishing escalation goals for recycling and reuse consistent with resource conservation" (CARE Memorandum of Understanding for Carpet Stewardship, January 2002).
